How can I get active - what options do I have?
Join a local sports club
There are hundreds of sports clubs throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in a number of different sports. Search for your local club by the area that you live in and your sport of interest HERE. Each club will cater for different people depending on age and ability. A great option if you know what sport you’d like to do or are keen to take up a sport again.
Join your local leisure facility
There are a number of leisure facilities throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight providing
- extensive gym facilities
- fitness, relaxation and toning classes
- opportunities to play specific sports on a regular or ad hoc basis e.g. badminton and squash

Try a Return to Sport course
If you haven’t taken part in a particular sport for a while a Return to Sport course is a great way to get back into it. It is also an opportunity to try a sport you may never have played. Why not be adventurous or get outdoors
For those who prefer more extreme sports or getting outdoors, there are a number available to try and take up regularly throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Get active in your daily life – Everyday Sport
You don’t have to join a sports club or facility to get sporty. Day-to-day activities can be great to get your heart pumping and you active.
