Who are Sport England, and what do they do?

Sport England is the national sports development agency, and are the distributors of lottery money for sport. For information on who they are, and what they do, visit their website on www.sportengland.org.

What sources of funding are available for sport?

Hampshire County Council and Sport Hampshire & IOW have at their disposal plenty of information on funding for sport. Check out the funding information on this website.

Which local or national agencies do you work with?

We work with many different agencies. Sport England and SportscoachUK are two of the major agencies we work with. Check out www.sportengland.org and www.sportscoachuk.org. We also have several Sports Specific Officers working in our department and you can download information from these agencies on their websites:
